Knysna

Knysna is a natural paradise of lush, indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. Knysna is situated on an amazingly picturesque lagoon, which is a protected marine reserve, home to the sea horse and more than 200 species of fish. This is home of the only forest elephant in South Africa, and the elusive Knysna Loerie. The Knysna Forest is the largest complex of closed-canopy forest in Southern Africa, with an amazing variety of Fynbos vegetation contributes over 8000 plant species to the Cape Floral Kingdom.
